Millennials are the largest and most influential generation of consumers yet. They’re young, aspirational and demanding; and their spending power can go up to $1.4 trillion globally. They are price sensitive but willing to pay for added nutritional value or health. They are brand loyal and spent 82% of their income. They are 26% more likely than average to say they agree that they often eat their meal on the run.

Millennials want the possibility to consume it on-the-go. They prefer beverages with strong nutritional profiles to help them meet health goals. The range of beverages consumed by the Millennial consumer is much wider than other consumer groups. They also feel that environmental benefits and sustainability are important to see on the packaging.

Brands and manufacturers should respond to their consumption patterns with innovation and differentiation – making various product solutions available to them for different opportunities.
